Quality Assurance Monitoring and Testing – C14. Control Testing Utility (CTU) is an Independent function within the COO organization, responsible for Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing of key controls for conformance with applicable requirements to strengthen risk management. The CTU activities span the execution of Control Design Assessments, design of Monitoring and Testing Tools, assessment of the design of such tools, and execution of monitoring and testing of controls in accordance with the MCA Procedures. The outcome of these assessment and testing activities is intended to assess the overall effectiveness of Key Controls mitigating they applicable risks within the business processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage assessment and testing activities
Responsible for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
Partner with key Client stakeholders to create assessment timelines and workload plans
Perform Quality Control reviews of assessments executed by the team
Provide managerial support to Client CTU Head and other team leads
Lead Client CTU or cross-CTU projects on process improvement and scenario-based solutions
Partner with Client stakeholders to identify thematic insights and drive improvements to effectiveness and quality of the controls
Engage senior management on tactical and strategic solution development
Identify inefficiencies and pain points in the processes and work with stakeholders and enables to find and implement optimum solutions
Handle exception communications by confirming proposed outliers and reviewing them with control/control execution leaders from the covered business/function
Support Client CTU in ensuring seamless adherence to the team's mandate during peak periods as well as times of expected and unexpected change and competing priorities
Maintain relationships and drives accountability with partners, peers and other stakeholders to drive control assessment and testing's success in support of the business's strategy
Assist management in guiding and influencing decisions that conform to business objectives
Support other relevant work efforts of the department where needed and as directed by their manager
Requirements:
10+ years relevant experience
Advanced knowledge and experience in controls design, execution and/or control testing
Excellent understanding of MCA (Managers Control Assessment) or equivalent risk and control frameworks and processes at peer firms
Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Problem solving mind-set
Strong communication, written and presentation skills
Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration
Independent thinker and able to perform a credible challenge of businesses/functions
Ability to work independently and effectively on virtual teams, including across different geographies and time zones preferred
Excellent organizational skills
ability to multitask, shift priorities, track multiple ongoing processes, delegate as necessary, and track to immutable deadlines
