Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based applications and portals through both automated and manual testing processes. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity and requires collaboration with diverse teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform thorough manual and automated testing for web-based applications, portals, and content management systems
  • Utilize tools such as Katalon Studio and Selenium to execute automated regression testing
  • Analyze business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and document test cases
  • Debug websites, portals, and applications to identify and resolve issues effectively
  • Validate data to ensure accuracy and compliance with system requirements
  • Create and maintain test scripts and documentation for audit and process improvement purposes
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members to coordinate testing efforts
  • Apply CI/CD practices to streamline testing and deployment processes
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to report testing progress and address challenges
  • Provide recommendations for improving testing workflows and methodologies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on both manual and automated testing
  • Proficiency with tools like Selenium and Katalon Studio for web browser automation
  • Demonstrated expertise in automated regression testing and debugging software
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and validating data accuracy
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to create detailed test plans and documentation to support testing activities
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of API testing and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
