Job Description:

To support the Quality Manager in. This role will be instrumental in ensuring products meet required specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation in line with company procedures
  • Identify and report non-conformities and assist in corrective and preventive actions
  • Communicate with various areas of the business , production, logistics , Management ,suppliers and customers as required
  • Assist with compliance to ISO standards and internal quality systems to achieve required targets
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure quality at every stage of manufacturing
  • Assist in internal audits and support external audits when required
  • Verify proper labelling, traceability, and documentation of supplied and manufactured products
  • Promote quality awareness on the shop floor
  • Continuous improvement skills

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of switchgear systems and components
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques
  • Familiarity with standards such as IEC, ISO 9001 is an advantage
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft office – excel , powerpoint etc
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Teamworker, Interpersonal and communication skills
