Job Responsibility:
Maintain and develop Etex Ireland’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring full legal compliance and high-quality standards across both fibre cement and metal manufacturing plants
Ensure all products are fit for purpose, meet customer expectations, and minimise product performance claims
Lead environmental, sustainability, and energy efficiency initiatives, driving compliance with Group targets and roadmaps
Represent the plant at Group Quality meetings, sharing knowledge, benchmarking performance, and supporting continuous improvement
Deliver on Group KPIs and goals outlined in the 3-Year Master Plan, Weekly, and Monthly Scorecards for Quality & Sustainability
Contribute to operations initiatives such as cost deployment, energy and safety Kaizen events, and CPM programs
Ensure compliance with EPA landfill licence requirements and Kildare County Council effluent discharge licence conditions
Act as an expert witness in Court or mediation cases when requested by the Etex Ireland Legal Team
Participate in European product standards development through active involvement in CEN Committees
Requirements:
Expert knowledge and relevant experience of the FC Process
Excellent problem solver
Good communicator
Respectful, empathetic attitude to co workers
Persuasive skills
Ability to lead by example, lead workshops on Quality & Environmental issues
Ability to manage change, and to protect product quality in a changing environment
In depth knowledge of the requirements of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
Ability to lead external audits on ISO and BES standards
Ability to implement change to improve product quality
