A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join Montefiore’s Quality and Compliance Department. In this pivotal role, you’ll support our commitment to excellence by driving quality initiatives, ensuring compliance, and helping shape the delivery of safe, person-centred care. Reporting to the General Manager of Quality and Compliance, you will work collaboratively across departments to design, implement, engage with and monitor systems that enhance quality and safety for our residents. You’ll be responsible for maintaining policies, procedures, and resources that align with best practice and regulatory requirements. Quality and Compliance Leads can also play a supportive role when required in developing and delivering targeted education, in conjunction with our Clinical Governance Team.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits
Investigating complaints, incidents or emerging trends, and guiding responsive actions
Providing guidance and support to colleagues who are managing, or reporting incidents as part of the Serious Incident Response Scheme
Reviewing quality activities and ensuring accurate reporting for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program
Analysing quality and compliance data to help provide informed insights that support Continuous Improvement across the organisation
Supporting the rollout of new systems and organisation-wide initiatives
Contributing to committees and working groups, mentoring colleagues, and staying across aged care reforms to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centred services
Requirements:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA)
Minimum 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience (desirable but not essential)
Previous quality/auditing experience
Previous experience in aged care
Strong writing skills
Ability to collect, analyse and report on data
Proficiency in computer systems and databases (intermediate to advanced)
Willingness to travel across sites as required
