Job Description:

To deliver day to day execution of a segment of the Sites Operational activities, reporting to the Cluster Quality Manager. The specific accountabilities will be defined locally, based on the specific site needs, size and required number of employees covering these activities. Quality improvement; Product Safety; Compliance vs standards & regulations; Sustainability

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as principal point of contact for product/service quality and hygiene issues
  • Administer customer complaints system
  • Lead/assist with investigations as required
  • Provide relevant quality/technical data as required
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance
  • Involved in customer visits
  • Responsible for compliance standards and maintaining external certification
  • Manage Sustainability topics like EUDR & ESG
  • To manage a timetable of checks and audits for the site
  • To monitor and maintain validity of site certifications
  • To support SMI for customers in quality related matters
  • To administrate the provision and accuracy of production documents (Control sheets)
  • To identify problems and improvements with shop floor documentation
  • To undertake routine administration tasks related to compliant production
  • To highlight non-compliance and work with managers on corrective action

Requirements:

  • Must have experience of quality systems and root cause analysis
  • Must have good analytical and good communications skills
  • High level of rigour and organisation skills
  • High level of Office Suite
  • Specific experience with Sustainability related topics
  • Numerate and able to conduct and present data analysis
  • Quality management experience & qualifications (e.g. HACCP, Food Safety, BRC…)
  • Must be ISO lead auditor qualified
  • Experience of working in Corrugated manufacturing environment
