Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Quality Analyst professional to join our team. As a Trainee Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the QA team in the execution of testing activities for web applications and software. This entry-level role will provide you with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your expertise in the SDLC/STLC process, testing methodologies, and tools. You will be working closely with the senior QA team members to ensure the quality of our products by performing a variety of testing tasks, including test case creation, test execution, bug reporting, and cross-browser compatibility testing.

Job Responsibility

  • Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes
  • Gain knowledge of various testing phases and their relevance in different stages of the project
  • Learn to create detailed and accurate test cases based on project requirements, user stories, or functional specifications
  • Execute test cases to ensure that software and web applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Identify and report valid bugs found during test execution using the appropriate bug-tracking tools
  • Perform cross-browser testing to ensure that the web application functions correctly on different browsers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with QA processes, including test case creation, bug reporting, and the importance of different testing types
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
