Job Responsibility

  • Provide tailored lessons to students with special educational needs, working closely with teaching assistants and therapists
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Support students with personal care and mobility as needed
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to foster a cohesive and collaborative community
  • Contribute to the spiritual and emotional development of students within the framework of the Catholic ethos

Requirements

  • QTS Qualified
  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students with complex needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to promoting the school's Catholic ethos and values
  • A passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential

  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders
