Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using established school policies
  • Prepare Year 11 students for GCSE success with expert revision sessions
  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues to share resources and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress to inform future planning
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of every learner
  • Ensure all students remain focused, on-task, and motivated throughout the lesson

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the subject, classroom and behaviour management
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • A commitment to the school's term-time schedule and student progress
