Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of older adults? We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Social Workers to join a dedicated team, focusing specifically on conducting comprehensive and person-centred reviews for older adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly-rated, supportive local authority, ensuring that the services provided to our older citizens continue to meet their evolving needs and promote their independence and well-being within the East Renfrewshire community.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting statutory reviews for older adults in accordance with relevant legislation and local policies
Working in partnership with service users, carers, families, and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to assess ongoing needs and outcomes
Developing and updating care and support plans to reflect current needs, promoting independence, choice, and control
Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively
Maintaining accurate and timely records using HSCP systems

Requirements:

A degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Current SSSC registration as a social worker
