An excellent new opportunity has opened up for an experienced practitioner to join a supportive, forward-thinking Children & Families team in Edinburgh. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated professional focused on delivering high-quality, meaningful outcomes for children, young people, and their families. If you are enthusiastic, driven, and ready to make a positive impact, this is the perfect role for you! This is an initial 3-month contract offering highly competitive pay rates.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct assessments and reviews to ensure children's safety and well-being
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans
  • Provide support, guidance, and advocacy for children, families, and carers
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to coordinate effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements

Requirements

  • Member of the PVG scheme
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
