Are you a Qualified Social Worker who's passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities? We're working with a highly supportive Children with Disabilities Team in Tameside, Greater Manchester who are seeking a dedicated Locum Social Worker to join them in delivering outstanding care and tailored support to children with complex needs and their families.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsibility for a caseload of children with complex needs
  • Undertake statutory assessments and writing reports
  • You will be working directly with the child or young person and their family carer
  • Participate in the planning and reviewing of cases
  • Liaise with colleagues and external agencies

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
  • Diploma/Degree in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Evidence of working with a similar complex caseload
  • Children services
  • be able to manage challenging situations
  • BA in social work
