Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Teacher with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A highly-regarded specialist school in Cranleigh, dedicated to providing exceptional education for young people with diverse needs, is seeking a talented and committed Qualified Teacher to join our nurturing team. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a class and work closely with dedicated support staff, including Teaching Assistants and a multi-disciplinary therapy team
  • Develop and implement personalised educational and support plans (e.g., EHCPs)
  • Monitor, record, and analyse student data to track progress and inform future planning
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and effective learning environment where every young person can achieve their potential
  • Participate in practical and theoretical training, including positive behaviour support techniques

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience teaching young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Ability to design, plan, and deliver highly differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities
  • A positive, patient, and resilient approach to working with children who may present with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • A full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role
