We are recruiting for an outstanding Teachers to join our well established Education Team at schools in Swinderby (LN6). We require suitably qualified teachers, with relevant SEN experience, who will create outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for individuals and small groups of pupils (aged between 9 to 18), ensuring a person-centred approach that is purposeful and meaningful.
Job Responsibility:
Establish and maintain good working relationships in order to promote the development and effective delivery of the school curriculum and maximise our young people’s achievement
Teaching students according to their educational needs and acknowledging that every interaction counts
Creating a safe and well-regulated teaching space that will ensure the educational well-being of individual children within the group
Following agreed and consistent strategies to support young people alongside school, therapeutic services and residential colleagues
Ensuring careful and ongoing assessment of learning to inform further planning and next steps
Ensuring that tasks and activities are matched to the ability of the children- allowing them to make meaningful progress and skills and knowledge that can be applied in real life context
Working within a team of like minded professionals, using team work and humour to ensure a cohesive and supportive education community
Liaising effectively with parents and a wide range of professionals
Requirements:
Must have appropriate teaching Qualification (QTS or QTLS)
Be an outstanding practitioner, with a passion for working with children with complex learning needs
Knowledge of autism, and an understanding of neurodiverse approaches to education desirable
Experience of teaching of working with a range of age phases is desirable
Nice to have:
Experience of teaching of working with a range of age phases is desirable
Previous experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable
