Job Description:

Are you an experienced Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a more senior role within the Wirral area? We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join a local primary school team. As a Level 3 TA, you will take on a higher level of responsibility, working closely with teachers to plan activities and lead small groups. This is a long-term, full-time position, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading small group interventions and specialized learning activities
  • Contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons alongside the Class Teacher
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, including maintaining student records
  • Supporting pupils with complex needs or those requiring targeted academic support
  • Supervising whole classes for short periods of time when necessary
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning culture across the school

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Proven experience working in a UK primary school, preferably in a Level 2 or 3 capacity
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to lead learning activities independently
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Immediate start preferred
