Job Description:

Randstad Education is actively recruiting a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team at a vibrant nursery located in the Haywards Heath area of West Sussex.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate educational activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Acting as a designated Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress, and maintaining accurate developmental records
  • Establishing positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare are maintained at all times
  • Observing, assessing, and documenting children's learning and development

Requirements:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or an equivalent qualification such as NNEB, or NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development)
  • Recent, relevant experience working within a formal early years setting (nursery or pre-school)
  • Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong verbal communication, written skills, and good organisational abilities
  • A genuine commitment to working with young children and supporting their holistic development
