Job Description

We are currently recruiting a qualified KS3 Maths Teacher for a specialist SEMH school in Dorking, starting in September. The school supports children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside additional SEN. This role involves delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting learners to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning and delivering KS3 Maths lessons
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional SEN needs
  • Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
  • Promoting engagement, confidence, and academic progress
  • Working closely with pastoral and support teams

Requirements

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Maths at KS3 level
  • Is confident working within SEMH settings
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is patient, resilient, and adaptable
