Job Description:

Make a difference in the lives of clients seeking justice. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients fully understand their legal rights and feel supported throughout the process. Your skills will directly impact people navigating some of life’s most challenging moments, all while contributing to your local community.

Job Responsibility:

Provide accurate and professional interpretation for client meetings, legal consultations, and case discussions
Ensure clarity and confidentiality when conveying legal information to clients from diverse backgrounds
Work collaboratively with lawyers and support staff to enhance the client experience
Interpret legal terminology with precision and cultural sensitivity
Maintain professionalism and impartiality while delivering high-quality services

Requirements:

NAATI Certification (Certified interpreter or Certified Provisional interpreter)
Proficiency in one or more languages, with fluency in English
Experience in legal interpretation or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with the Australian legal system is highly regarded
