Job Description

Badham Pharmacy is a family owned chain of 27 pharmacies across Gloucestershire and Bristol serving patients since 1940 and with a long history of exceptional patient-centred care. This vacancy is in our Church Road branch in Bishops Cleeve and will be 37.5 hours a week. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday (shifts between the hours of 08.00am and 19.00pm with at least 1 19.00pm finish) 2 in 4 Saturdays 0900-17.30pm (with a day taken off in the week as lieu) and Sunday cover 11am-1pm and 6-7pm on a rota basis. We can consider part time applicants providing you are able to work the majority of the shift requirements. The role is very rewarding and you will make a difference to the patient healthcare of your local community.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the running of the robot including deblistering replenishing and dispensing dosette trays
  • take responsibility for tray changes
  • take phone calls and liaise with the surgery
  • order and process tray scripts and send over to the robot
  • manufacture dosette trays for local community patients who need extra support in organising medication
  • download and prepare prescriptions that have been sent from a local surgery or a customer has arrived to collect
  • support the medicines counter assistant and pharmacist in their roles
  • have effective conversations with customers ensuring that they get the right level of care and medication for their needs
  • engage with customers around the large amount of additional services that we offer including the Pharmacy First scheme

Requirements

NVQ2 Qualified Dispenser (National Pharmacy Association or equivalent provider)
