Job Responsibility:

Assist dentists during a wide range of treatments
Maintain excellent infection control standards and a safe clinical environment
Support and reassure patients throughout their treatment journey
Work closely with dentists, hygienists, specialists and reception staff
Help educate patients to achieve positive oral health outcomes

Requirements:

GDC-registered Dental Nurse (essential)
Friendly, reliable and patient-focused
Strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
Keen to grow, learn and enjoy their career

Nice to have:

Flexible to cover for Holidays and Sickness preferred

Level 3 Training or Assessing Qualification - or willingness to acquire
Qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience
DBS Check
Based in London to conduct workplace assessments
Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines
IT literate - with effective use of MS Office

To book and carry out workplace assessments of Diploma in Dental Nursing learners within the required time period
Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners
Ensure the correct completion and submission of all assessment paperwork
Provide constructive feedback to the learner and practice manager in a sensitive manner
Prepare and support a small caseload of learners for EPA
Conduct health & safety and equal opportunities vetting and monitoring of practice and provide guidance where necessary
Plan and prepare for each workplace assessment
Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements and maintain your GDC registration
