Job Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and caring Dental Nurse and/or Receptionist to join our team. This flexible position offers: Full-time or part-time hours, tailored to suit the right candidate; Saturday-only availability for those seeking extra income; The potential for additional days and hours, with the opportunity for the position to become permanent.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide high-quality chairside assistance to clinicians during dental procedures
  • Ensure patients feel comfortable, cared for, and in safe hands at every visit
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and well-organised clinical environment
  • Anticipate the needs of the dental team to keep the day running smoothly
  • Support patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment care
  • Be the friendly first point of contact for all patients, in person, over the phone, and by email
  • Manage appointments, schedules, and patient communications efficiently
  • Process payments, treatment plans, and insurance claims with accuracy and professionalism
  • Keep the front desk organised and ensure a smooth flow of patients throughout the day
  • Coordinate between clinical and administrative teams to deliver an excellent patient experience

Requirements:

  • Holds a relevant Dental Nursing qualification (IDC registration preferred but not essential)
  • Has experience in dental nursing and/or reception
  • Is warm, professional, and passionate about excellent patient care
  • Is confident with computers and dental software systems
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enjoys being part of a supportive team
  • Can adapt easily in a busy, fast-paced environment

  • Complete all required documentation accurately: start-up checklists, tooling setting sheets, shift hand-over log and production logs using the Company's software system
  • Complete equipment pre-use check, ensure that the correct PPE is worn by all members of the Team including yourself, adhere to all Health and safety system and risk assessment documentation
  • Support new tool trials and processes, process improvements which are no-mould related to enhance the safety and the overall Mould Shop environment
  • Assist with basic preventative maintenance of both tools and equipment
  • Train and mentor, a small team of 3-4 Operators
