Job Description:

Butler Rose are excited to be representing a well-established and successful firm of chartered accountants in Southampton. This is a modern and expanding firm who pride themselves on investing in their staff. Due to their expansion, their client base is growing and they are keen to recruit a Qualified Account who can take on a portfolio of accounting clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Statutory accounts preparation for a diverse range of clients
  • Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
  • Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Attend client meeting and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified - Although nearly qualified will be considered
  • Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT
  • Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships
