Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients (SMEs, landowners, HNWIs)
  • Provide tax advisory and compliance support tailored to rural property owners and professional services
  • Contribute to financial planning and investment advisory projects
  • Collaborate with directors to deliver high-touch, partner-level service—each client enjoys direct access to leadership
  • Mentor junior staff where applicable, empowering them through hands-on development
  • Maintain strong client relationships rooted in personal service and local understanding

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) with practice experience
  • Experience within the agriculture and rural sectors preferred
  • Strong technical competency in accounting, tax compliance, and planning
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-centered mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a close-knit, flexible environment with direct involvement in client services
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to both client care and practice growth
