Our client, a reputable and long-standing manufacturing business, is seeking a dedicated and influential QS/Contracts Manager/Estimator to join their team near Ashford. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Processing quotations to orders
  • Answering all inbound Customer enquiries and completing tenders for prospective clients
  • Visiting client sites
  • Surveying work
  • Regularly receiving and making calls to increase sales enquiries and sales opportunities
  • Maintaining the tender database
  • Forming relationships with prospective and repeat customers
  • Working closely with the Business Development team
  • Maintaining the in house customer database

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Estimating role is essential
  • A background in Quantity surveying, engineering, construction or manufacturing is essential
  • Experience of Contracts Management
  • Assertive, confident and positive approach
