We’re BDO. An accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world. Our Shared Service Centre team (SSC) provides essential support to a number of teams across our firm. As a QRM Support SSC Senior Assistant of BDO's Quality and Risk Team Support Service within the Shared Service Centre (SSC), you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the wider Quality and Risk Management (QRM) function.

Job Responsibility:

  • Play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the wider Quality and Risk Management (QRM) function
  • Integral to ensuring the firm maintains its commitment to excellence and risk mitigation across all operations
  • Comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks
  • Confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively
  • Identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously analyse data and identify trends, ensuring accuracy in all reporting and monitoring activities
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Proficient in conveying complex information clearly and effectively, fostering strong relationships within the team and across departments
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively in a Team Environment: Demonstrated experience in working effectively within a team, contributing to collective goals and supporting colleagues
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Risk Management: Previous experience in these areas is preferred but not essential
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI: Skilled in data manipulation and report creation using Excel and Power BI, enabling efficient handling of large datasets and insightful reporting
  • Innovative - You possess a proactive mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation within quality and risk processes
  • Technically Proficient - While familiarity with quality and risk tools and methodology is advantageous, you are tech-savvy and comfortable with learning new software and technologies
  • Committed to Growth - You have a strong eagerness to learn and a desire to expand your knowledge and skills in quality assurance and risk management
  • Organisational Expert - You excel in effective time management, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and support multiple functions
