Job Description

The Senior Consultant role requires 8 to 12 years of SAP experience, focusing on SAP QM, PP, and PM. Candidates should have expertise in solution design and implementation, with a strong understanding of S4 Hana and related processes. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is essential, and willingness to travel is mandatory. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required.

Requirements

  • Overall 8 to 12 years of SAP work Experience with 3 to 4 years of domain / Industry experience
  • Minimum 7+ Years of SAP Experience in SAP QM (Primary Skill), PP & PM
  • Should have worked as end-to-end SAP Functional Solution architect for at least 3-4 Projects
  • Should have worked on S/4 Hana, Fiori, and SAP Best Practice
  • Experience in Solution Design, Configuration, Implementation and Support of SAP QM functions as primary skill, with additional experience in SAP PP and PM
  • With experience in integration of SAP QM processes with relevant SD, MM, WM, FICO, PP and PM functions
  • Detailed knowledge of all the major business processes and associated functionality in S4HANA for QM, and good working knowledge for PP and PM domain
  • Should be able to design and configure the processes in Inspection Planning, Results processing, Certificate management, Notifications, Test Equipment management, Reporting etc.
  • Should be able to design and configure the processes in Discrete Manufacturing, Process Industry, Repetitive Manufacturing (as secondary exposure to PP)
  • Should be able to design and configure Demand Management, MRP and Shop floor control process (PP-related)
  • Should be able to design and configure the processes in Technical Objects, Notifications, Order Processing, Preventative Maintenance planning and Work Scheduling (PM-related)
  • Should have good functional knowledge in Batch Management, Variant Configuration, X-Steps, Interfaces, IDOCs etc.
  • Functional Locations, Equipment, Equipment BOM’s, Task Lists, Items and Plans, MRO’s, Contracts
  • Knowledge in the plant maintenance related to - Preventive, Breakdown, Operational, Calibration, pool asset management, shift notes/ reports, work clearance management, permits
  • Knowledge on the RICEFW objects
  • Expertise in one or more verticals, which include Manufacturing, Auto, Pharma, BFSI, Metals, Energy & Utilities, Telecom
  • Define and implement a structured way of handling opportunities – first client meeting/solution pitch / RFP response / RFI response/presentation etc.
  • Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
  • Translate client objectives and requirements into solution concept for specific deals, based on offerings and capabilities
  • Exhibit subject matter expertise within Application Management Support business line to develop innovative and out-of-box solutions
  • Business Travel: Project specific travelling is mandatory for all the SAP Consultants
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong executive presence and ability to interact at various levels
  • Leadership through communication, coaching, and mentoring to achieve collective success
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
