Qlikview Architect

Position Title – QLIKVIEW ARCHITECT Location – NYC Duration- Long Term Job Description: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum of 8+ years of IT experience. · Experience with QlikView 11 SR2 · Strong SQL Skills. · Experience in utilizing QlikView to implement complex analytical solutions which access data from multiple sources · Solid experience developing complex QlikView data models using QlikView 11 SR2 · Mastery of QlikView charting; set analysis; reusability; leveraging variables and templates; and building/deploying section-access security models · Ability to write complex front end scripting or expressions · Knowledge on QlikView server architecture and building QVD”s and QVW”s applying business rules and data validations · Able to develop macros in visual basic for advanced functionality · Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema); Working with large data sets; · Must have developed enterprise applications for use in production environments · Knowledge of building/using extensions and mashup’s · Familiarity with Teradata, SQL Server databases · Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. · Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail. · Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
