Job Description:

Join HSBC as a Qliksense Developer in Hyderabad, India. Be part of a team driving innovative solutions in data modeling, Qlik Sense dashboard development, and DevOps practices. Supporting key global business needs in an agile and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

ensuring AGILE delivery practice and ways of working
front and back end responsibility for product/application development
coordinates release deployment and supports systems in production
interpret requirements, provide estimations and participate in agile development project lifecycles
end-to-end accountability for a GT IT product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs
troubleshoot defects and come up with sustainable solutions
work with Ops, Development and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues are addressed at all stages of a product/service release/change
ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for software solutions delivered
automate the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team
challenge decisions made on control implementation where appropriate

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Regulatory / IT environment
experience in Finance IT desirable
expertise in designing, developing, and deploying interactive Qlik Sense dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements
expertise in building efficient data models in Qlik Sense, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources, and writing scripts for data manipulation and calculations
ensuring Qlik Sense applications are optimized for performance and scalability
experience with Qlik NPrinting for report distribution
strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience with Qlik Sense scripting language
experience in implementing data validation and testing procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data loaded into the system
familiarity with relational databases like Oracle or DB2, or SQL Server, including SQL knowledge
excellent communication skills able to articulate at all levels
keen attention to detail, and demonstrable 'ownership' of problems and tasks
a drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent service and continual improvement
