Job Description:

The QlikView Lead will be responsible for leading BI initiatives, driving Qlik to Power BI migration programs, architecting scalable BI solutions, and managing end-to-end delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise along with leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead BI development projects using Qlik (QlikView/Qlik Sense) and Power BI
  • Drive migration of existing BI solutions from Qlik to Power BI
  • Design and implement robust data models and semantic layers
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes and data integration workflows from multiple sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
  • Develop advanced Power BI dashboards using DAX, Power Query, RLS, and Power BI Service
  • Manage Power BI Gateway configurations and deployments
  • Work with large datasets and optimize performance across BI tools
  • Provide technical leadership to BI teams and ensure best practices
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI tool issues

Requirements:

  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Intelligence development
  • Strong expertise in QlikView/Qlik Sense and Power BI
  • Proven experience in BI migration projects (Qlik to Power BI preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Data Modeling
  • Strong knowledge of ETL Processes
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Querying
  • Strong knowledge of Semantic Layer Design
  • Hands-on experience with DAX
  • Hands-on experience with Power Query
  • Hands-on experience with Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI Service & Gateway
  • Experience in Qlik scripting and platform administration
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Certification in Qlik or Power BI (preferred)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong understanding of data visualization and UX/UI best practices
