Based at our Techcenter in Nootdorp, you will have responsibility as QHSSE Advisor within the Netherlands QHHSE team, playing a key role in strengthening our safety culture and supporting our operations. In this role, you take the lead in conducting incident investigations that result in meaningful, actionable improvements. You provide structure and consistency to project teams, ensuring that safety and quality remain integral throughout execution. As a trusted advisor to management team, you support the rollout of safety initiatives that enhance awareness and engagement across the organization. You will have the autonomy to shape your role, expand your expertise, and develop in alignment with your professional ambitions.
Job Responsibility:
Lead incident investigations within MAI, ensuring findings are thorough, accurate, and actionable
Provide project management support for the MAI service line, bringing structure, follow‑through, and consistency
Advise management on QHSSE‑related matters, contributing to informed decision‑making and continuous improvement
Support the NL QHSSE organization by contributing to initiatives, processes, and overall safety performance
Requirements:
NEBOSH, HVK or Integrated Safety qualification
At least 5 years of hands‑on HSE project experience within a technical environment, preferably within the Marine sector
Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
Previous experience with auditing and certification processes within the quality domain
Proactive, practical mindset and strong sense of initiative
Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous development
Good Dutch proficiency and excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
