At Luanda International Airport (NBJ), Aviapartner is fast growing its operations. Currently, we are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager. You will be part of a very dynamic team in the airport business and report directly to the NBJ station manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the station manager in his responsibilities for quality running the operational quality control program at the station as described in the Station Quality Program (AQ10) to guarantee compliance with the Aviapartner standards, applicable regulations and requirements of the customer airlines
  • Contribute actively to meeting the agreed KPI targets
  • Achieve and maintain ISO9001/14001/ISAGO registration at the station

Requirements:

  • Safeguard the implementation and accuracy of the quality and environmental program
  • Plan and follow up station audits and inspections, including the creation of the audit plan and organization of internal audits and audits for subcontractors at the station
  • Provide support for external audits from a to z
  • Initiate and follow-up corrective actions and opportunities for improvement and closure of findings within agreed deadlines for internal and external audits in cooperation with station management and department managers
  • Perform quality inspections and audits when qualified
  • Ensure initial gap analysis and follow up on changes of airport requirements
  • Ensure initial gap analysis and follow up on changes of airline requirements (together with the customer services department and liaison officers/key account managers where available)
  • Safeguard document control at the station in line with AQ01 Documentation Program
  • Keep local Procedures and Working instructions for the station up to date in the intranet appropriate page (Intranet Procedures) with minimum review every 3 years of all documents
  • Keep airline manuals for the station up to date in Airline Manuals in Intranet Procedures
  • Provide and publish quality information in the appropriate management and/or communication tool (Intranet Quality, Q-Pulse, QualityNet) within set deadlines
  • Key person for co-ordination, promotion and maintenance of certification such as ISO9001/14001, ISAGO, etc. at the station
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, quality monitoring in line with AQ10 Station Quality Program & KPI table
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly, quality and environmental reporting in line with AQ10 Station Quality Program, the Environmental Program & KPI table
  • Report regularly about quality and environmental issues, quality and environmental performance and perception to the management team at your station
  • Report without delay on internal and external station audits to the Country Quality Manager and/or the VP Quality & Environment, updating Qpulse without delay
  • Prepare quality and environmental monitoring reports for the station (management and non-management) and the customers
  • Participate in the station and country meetings concerning quality, environment and safety
  • Ensure internal communication about quality and environment on station level to all levels (management and non-management)
  • Contribute actively to quality and environmental awareness at your station
  • Promote continuous improvement in your station
  • Assure continuous improvement in line with AQ11 continuous improvement procedure
  • Organize and prepare the yearly QSSE review
  • Review minimum monthly Quality and quarterly Environment KPI of the station
  • Make independent recommendations concerning quality and environment at your station to the station manager, the management team and Country Quality Manager and/or VP Quality & Environment
  • Ensure supplier management for the main suppliers/subcontractors at your station incl. the organization of supplier self assessments, audits and inspections as well as the organisation of the yearly supplier evaluation in line with AQ25 Supplier management
  • Ensure complaint management at the station in line with AQ20 Complaint Management
  • Register and follow up complaints regarding the station
  • Follow up customer satisfaction trends
  • Ensure update and maintenance of the airline and AP ERP for the station unless otherwise agreed
  • Follow up the environmental management system at the station as an Eco Pilot unless this task is appointed to another qualified Eco Pilot
  • Execute ad-hoc quality & environment related tasks on request of the station manager or Country Quality Manager or VP Quality & Environment (SLA analysis, Customer Satisfaction Survey, testing or feeding new quality tools, reporting etc.)
