Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a Safety Engineer in construction or industry, with a focus on HSE
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, codes, and standards
Experience with international clients and solar projects is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Fluent in English
ability to prepare HSE documentation in English and/or Greek
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Responsibility

Ensure the health and safety of all employees working on company projects, as well as the safety of third parties
Oversee the work of company staff and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices
Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures. Take proactive measures to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained
Coordinate and supervise personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and smooth operation of machinery and equipment
Conduct regular HSE inspections, produce detailed reports, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Lead investigations, analyze incidents, and produce comprehensive reports to prevent future occurrences
Develop and maintain accurate records of all HSE documentation as required by legislation and company policies
Implement safety procedures for the operation, maintenance, and insurance of facilities, ensuring maintenance interventions are conducted safely
Ensure compliance with all legal provisions related to operations, maintenance, operating permits, environmental approvals, and safety regulations
Provide timely and effective reports on all HSE activities and incidents
