Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Engineer to support major offshore energy projects across drilling, subsea, offshore structures, renewables, and low-carbon developments. This role offers hands-on involvement in quality, safety, and sustainability across the full project lifecycle, from tender through execution and delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide QHSE support across bids, projects, and design reviews
  • Develop, implement, and improve project quality processes within the QMS
  • Produce and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits in line with ISO 9001:2015
  • Manage non-conformances through to close-out
  • Perform inspections, witness testing, and supplier liaison
  • Support expediting and timely delivery of fabrication activities
  • Oversee release of equipment and materials from suppliers
  • Report on quality performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
  • Support Project Managers with quality, project controls, and delivery objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project-based QHSE roles, including major CapEx projects
  • Background in offshore structures, drilling, or subsea equipment
  • Recognised QHSE qualification (preferred)
  • Experience working in offshore or energy environments
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO management systems
  • Confident working independently and as part of a project team
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Right to work in the UK (non-sponsored role)
