Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QE Automation Tester to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Execute automation and manual tests to validate application functionality
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers to understand requirements and testing needs
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
  • Analyze test results and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering practices
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with performance testing tools
  • Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
