Conduct quality surveillance on related inspection activities to ensure full compliance with COMPANY procedures, specifications, and approved inspection methods
Review inspection reports, NDT results, anomaly classifications, and technical documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contract requirements
Perform field checks on inspection execution to ensure adherence to approved procedures, safety requirements, and ISO 17020 inspection body obligations
Verify calibration status, validity, and compliance of inspection tools, NDT equipment, EX-rated devices, and gauges used in field operations
Support the QA team in NCR issuance, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and tracking of close-out activities
Assist in maintaining quality records, traceability documentation, inspection registers, and data control systems for audit readiness
Monitor vendor, third-party, and contractor quality deliverables, including welding, coating, fabrication, and material inspections
Participate in internal audits, surveillance visits, quality meetings, and technical reviews with COMPANY representatives
Provide quality feedback to operations, inspection teams, and engineers to ensure continuous improvement in inspection execution and reporting quality
Support quality input during planning, reporting, verification, and close-out of inspection activities
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy, or related engineering field
5+ years’ experience in inspection, QA/QC, or quality surveillance roles within Oil & Gas
Certification such as CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent welding inspection qualification (preferred)
ASNT Level II in UT/MT/PT/VT (minimum one method
more preferred)
Good understanding of NDT methods, inspection workflows, welding processes, materials, coatings, and fabrication quality
Strong knowledge of quality assurance/quality control processes, NCR handling, traceability, and quality documentation requirements
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 requirements related to inspection bodies
Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, ITPs, procedures, and inspection reports
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with digital inspection/reporting systems (e.g., CIRRAS, SAP)
Strong communication and coordination skills when interfacing with inspectors, NDT technicians, vendors, and COMPANY representatives
Fluent in English (oral and written), and compliant with COMPANY QHSE and ethical requirements
Nice to have:
