P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining a constant clean glassware supply
  • Purchasing of laboratory consumables
  • Disposal of laboratory samples
  • Administration tasks for the support of QC
  • Be trained, and adhere to all procedures associated with Quality, GMP, and hygiene within the role
  • Maintain a safe working environment by working safely
  • Be trained and qualified in all relevant Health and Safety Procedures, report accidents and take part in investigations
  • Documents to be read/read verified on a timely basis
  • To bring to the attention of his/her line manager any difficulties or problems encountered in the performance of his/her duties
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by the QC Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English
  • Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment or handling chemicals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work equally well on own initiative or within small, dynamic teams

Nice to have:

Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment or handling chemicals
