Certified Welding CSWIP 3.1
Minimum of 3 years of offshore pipeline experience or hook-up
At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Fluent in English

Job Responsibility

Perform inspections and monitor all welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (such as ASME, AWS, ISO)
Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications
Conduct visual inspections of welds, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) surveillance, and ensure weld quality and workmanship meet acceptance criteria
Monitor pre-welding, welding, and post-welding operations including fit-up, alignment, heat input, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment
Identify and report non-conformities and assist in the development of corrective action plans
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, welding logs, and reports
Coordinate with the construction team, welding supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues related to welding
Ensure that welding equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
Participate in internal and external audits related to welding quality
Ensure that all safety practices are strictly followed during welding operations

Minimum 10 years of experience in Welding QC on major Oil & Gas EPC projects
Strong experience with piping, pressure vessels, and valves welding
Experience on CPF, refinery, or large industrial facilities strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and fabrication techniques
Strong understanding of ASME IX, ASME B31.3, API standards
Ability to interpret isometrics, welding drawings, WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation

Job Responsibility

Verify that welding activities follow approved procedures and are performed by qualified welders
Verify the contractor’s daily welding reports and associated databases
Review weekly trends of weld acceptance/rejection
Provide daily updates and weekly reporting directly to the CPF2 Site QC Superintendent
Contribute actively to daily/weekly QC coordination meetings
Maintain up-to-date records, ITP follow-up, NCR/CAR tracking, and Mechanical Completion documentation
Verify material identification, traceability, joint preparation, bevels, fit-up, alignment, and cleanliness before welding
Ensure compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications (WPQ)
