Our Thetford Plant is looking for a QC Chemistry Technician to join their raw material sampling team sampling all incoming raw materials upon warehouse receipt.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all incoming raw materials are inspected and sampled in accordance with all applicable SOPs and instructions
  • Inspect containers
  • verify accurate label information, lot numbers, and associated paperwork
  • Ensure accurate, timely entries are made in electronic laboratory notebook, LIMS and/or paper documentation
  • Perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the chemical sampling booth and surrounding work area
  • Support QC laboratory with reagent preparation, testing, sample handling when required
  • Be responsible for equipment. Perform calibration checks in accordance with procedures. Ensure that equipment is operated and maintained correctly
  • Support with daily activity scheduling and planning when required
  • Involvement with the Quality Management System (QMS), such as deviations, CAPAs, effectiveness checks, and laboratory investigations when required
  • Support document updates, changes controls, and successfully handle timelines for implementation of changes when required
  • Assist with internal, customer, and regulatory audits
  • complete any assigned action items in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a GMP environment
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Experienced in manual handling
  • Highly experinced with visual inspections
  • Ability to learn and retain new skills and simple process operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to integrate well within an established team in a fast-paced environment
