We are looking for an experienced and independent QA Tester to join us on a team focused on developing one of our biggest games. You will be directly embedded into a cross-functional team and work alongside developers, game designers, artists, and product managers to ensure our players can enjoy a satisfying and high-quality experience playing our game
Job Responsibility:
Work with the developers, designers and other stakeholders to best ensure the quality of the game
Have ownership of features, bug reports and tickets
as well as participate in the decision-making process for the product
Create and execute test plans and cases for upcoming game features, by considering not only the happy path, but also edge cases, feature-breaking scenarios & tech dependencies
Support with the release pipeline and post-release management
Contribute to the overall QA processes and raise awareness of QA best practices
Requirements:
Be a strong team player and communicator who excels when working closely with other team members, by receiving and providing assistance
Previous experience in software testing or a related field
Analytical skill set, curiosity-driven and problem-solving-oriented mindset
Broad knowledge of production teams and their core workflows
Experience with Scrum and working in Agile teams
Experience with JIRA or other similar bug and project management tools
Great understanding of terms like functional VS non-functional testing, exploratory testing, sanity testing, regression testing, etc.
