Job Description

Whitehall Resources require 3x QA Test Analysts to work with a key client on a 6 month contract. This role will require on site work in Telford 2 days per week. Inside IR35.

Job Responsibility

  • Working in an Agile delivery team
  • Writing a Test Approach document
  • Carrying out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing
  • Supporting E2E testing on one or more projects
  • Analysing customer requirements and technical documentation
  • Identifying test scenarios
  • Writing test scripts
  • Test data preparation and running/recording tests
  • Verifying outcomes against expected results using Risk Based Testing (RBT)
  • Recording results for audit trails
  • Working closely with delivery team and key stakeholders
  • Checking and assessing requirements, including testability of designs
  • Creating low-level test plans, test scripts and setting up test data
  • Providing regular status reports to the Delivery Manager
  • Identifying and raising project & product risks and issues
  • Executing test activities and performing manual and automated testing on projects
  • Defining test activities, tasks and deliverables
  • Documenting test coverage matrix on projects
  • Automating tests
  • Working closely with external supplier test teams

Requirements

  • Candidates will be required to either hold active SC clearance or be eligible for SC clearance
  • Experience of Talend as an ETL tool
  • Experience of testing Oracle RDS solutions
  • Experience test data preparation and creation

  • Test Tools (e.g. Test Automation, Postman)
