Global-e ReturnGO is a post-purchase solution that enables thousands of merchants to efficiently manage returns and exchanges. Serving merchants across the e-commerce ecosystem, ReturnGO includes two main frontend applications, one for merchants and one for shoppers, and integrates seamlessly with leading e-commerce platforms and systems. About the Role: Own the quality of Global-e’s ReturnGO product and lead both automation and manual QA. Define QA processes across the R&D organization and implement AI tools to automate processes and testing. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, mentorship, and close collaboration across teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Gain ownership of the quality of the ReturnGO product and ensure high-quality releases
  • Lead and mentor a QA team of 2 engineers (1 Automation, 1 Manual) alongside hands-on QA work
  • Integrate AI tools to automate QA process and testing automation
  • Drive quality best practices across R&D with developers and product managers
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests using Playwright and Python
  • Define quality KPIs to track and improve the quality

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in QA, with proven leadership experience
  • Advantage: proven QA leadership experience (e.g. QA Team Lead, QA Lead, QA Architect, or QA Expert)
  • Advantage: Strong hands-on experience in QA automation, preferably with Playwright and Python
  • Practical experience in AI tools for automating process and testing automation
  • Proven experience guiding development teams and driving best practices, tools, and KPIs across R&D in a matrix environment
  • Strong understanding of automation strategy, CI/CD integration, and test management methodologies
