Job Description

This is an exciting role with an industry leader which manufactures and supplies their product range globally. They now seek to hire a talented QA Manager with extensive HACCP management, product specifications, regulatory and GMP experience to lead their QA function. Please note this is a hands on, on site position- there is no remote capability.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards
  • Overseeing and implementing HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality programs for the plant.
  • Providing oversight for the development of robust manufacturing control processes and related reports use throughout the plant.
  • Managing customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking.
  • Performing gap analysis on all Food Safety and Quality processes and procedures.
  • Training, mentoring, and supervising QA Co Op.
  • Managing the hold and release program
  • Establishing finished goods quality standards, monitor down-graded product and work with manufacturing to reduce them to appropriate levels.

Requirements

  • Degree (BA) in Food Science or related required.
  • Minimum 1+ years experience as a QA Supervisor in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Expertise with GFSI quality programs.
