Job Description:

QA Specialist with German at Sopra Steria involves preparing test plans, designing and executing manual and automated tests, creating user documentation, maintaining traceability, and participating in bug detection. The role includes customer project support and collaboration with stakeholders regarding release plans and test results. Candidates must possess a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields, experience in software testing, and an excellent command of German (B2 or higher).

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare test plans, setup test environment, assess testability and help define acceptance criteria
  • design and carry out manual software tests
  • support the design and execution of automated tests
  • document and evaluate the test results and create user documentation
  • take active part in bug detection and fixing, as well as maintaining traceability
  • support customer projects and coordinate with the customer and internal stakeholders regarding release plans, test requirements and test results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a relevant comparable qualification
  • experience in software testing and agile software development methods
  • analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • team player with initiative
  • ability to work responsibly and independently in a dynamic environment
  • experience with test automation within CI/CD pipelines
  • certifications like ISTQB are a plus
  • excellent command of German language (at least level B2)
