Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing
  • Good to have QA with Dataspace experience and Data quality Testing
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and project management tool
  • Work within an agile team environment in a collaborative manner to perform test verification activities
  • Proven experience owning the QA testing strategy for an application
  • Understanding of different testing types – regression testing, ad hoc testing, integration testing, performance testing, etc.
  • Strong automation skills required
  • Solid understanding of Web/UI testing
  • Demonstrated expertise in constructing tests for RESTful APIs is required
  • Must be strong in SQL and general database technologies
  • Ability to query and swiftly compare large datasets is crucial
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks is a must
  • Must have prior experience working with applications on Windows and Unix platforms
  • Experience in TestNG is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, agile methodologies, and QA best practices
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., TestNG) is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, HP ALM)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
