Job Description:

The QA SDET (Python) role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality in software delivery. Candidates should have experience in Python, automation testing, and tools like Blazemeter and Postman. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, BAs and product managers, to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories
  • Communicating with testers, Delivery Managers & product owners to ensure risk has been mitigated in the delivery of a project
  • Writing clear and comprehensive test estimates, planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • Work closely with the Test Manager to improve the team’s processes and oversee progress being made
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables
  • Taking a lead role within a squad’s day to day activities
  • Analyzing business specification documents, assisting in Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Scope and defining Test Cases
  • Remain focused on continuous improvement of testing process. Be actively involved in the fine-tuning to optimize QA results
  • Ability to understand functional requirements and design documents and to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Performing automation testing
  • Testing using tools such as Blazemeter, Jira
  • Assist management in the planning & preparation of upcoming Projects
  • Provide feedback on PoCs done to improve the testing process

Requirements:

  • Experience with Programming Language - Python, Cucumber-BDD, Gitlab
  • Experience with remote cloud devices like Perfecto/Browserstack/Headspin or similar
  • Blazemeter/Postman/API and HTTP Methods
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Pro-active self-starter
  • Good planning and time-management skills
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines under pressure

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Conversational/Chat testing experience
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification
  • Knowledge of Telco Domain
  • Experience/Interest in chatbot testing
