Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on technical and business requirements
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, usability, and performance
  • Log and track issues using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and operations teams to resolve bugs and ensure high-quality releases
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to process improvements
  • Review technical and functional documentation for clarity and completeness
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA input during sprint planning and design
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to cross-functional teams and management
  • Prepare quality metrics, dashboards, and testing reports for key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) for test automation
  • Solid understanding of QA/QC methodologies and best practices
  • Strong communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a software development/IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and defect lifecycle
  • Proficient with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with JUnit testing framework or other frameworks
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with automated testing tools for eg: Selenium, TestNG, Cypress
  • Exposure to performance or security testing
