Job Description:

We are supporting Gap inşaat – one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of QA/QC inspector - civil/hydrotechnical works to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk. This is a great opportunity to join the newly forming local structures of a renowned company that prioritizes innovation, safety (22 million man-hours without an accident), and sustainable growth.

Job Responsibility:

develop, implement, and manage the project-specific QA/QC Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with the EPC contract
supervise QA/QC works across disciplines including civil, mechanical, welding, NDT, and coatings
review and approve quality documentation, including method statements, material certificates, and inspection reports
ensure strict compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, API, DNV, AWS) and Employer/Client specifications
coordinate and witness inspections for fabrication, installation, welding, NDT, coating, pressure testing, and other critical activities
manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
liaise with Employer’s Engineer, classification societies, and third-party inspectors for quality control and verification
lead internal and external audits, pre-commissioning inspections, and final documentation for system handover (e.g., as-built dossiers, test packs)

Requirements:

bachelor’s degree in Engineering
minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in offshore or marine infrastructure projects
solid knowledge of offshore construction techniques, materials, and applicable standards (e.g., steel structures, subsea pipelines)
fluency in English (written and spoken) and very good knowledge of Polish
preferred certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1/3.2 (Welding Inspector), NACE Coating Inspector, ASNT Level II (NDT)
strong leadership, documentation, and coordination skills
