Job Description:

The Finance Quality Assurance, Testing and Validation (QATV) team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, reliability and control through testing Citi’s regulatory and management reporting while providing an objective assessment of issue remediation. The team comprises nine teams globally and has business-critical deliverables. The AVP - QA Process Improvement & Automation Sr. Analyst role provides leadership and supervisory responsibility, focuses on process improvement, testing, metrics production, and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • drive the production of QATV metrics and reporting, as well as process optimization, automation, and training
  • key activities include QATV metrics production, testing execution monitoring, and results consolidation
  • oversee, manage, and support QATV tooling enablement and business process improvement
  • proactive processes to verify key activities and controls
  • contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions
  • participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for processes and organization
  • assists in setting standards for finance architecture
  • supervises small to medium-sized finance operational teams
  • advises on procedures and integrates with others for team goals
  • improves process efficiencies
  • performs other duties and functions as assigned
  • acts as SME to senior stakeholders and team members
  • appropriately assesses risk and ensures compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
  • background in CCAR, Liquidity, RWA, Basel, Audit, Testing or Compliance Testing will be an advantage
  • requires conceptual/practical grounding in policies as they apply to the business
  • excellent relational and communication skills
  • advanced MS Office skills
  • expertise in software development and automation tools
  • data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.)
  • process improvement and optimization
  • strong knowledge of technology applications in testing environments
  • metrics and performance tracking
  • quality assurance and risk management
  • governance and oversight
  • issue remediation and tracking
  • analytical skills for issue identification and resolution
  • attention to detail for independent assessments
  • bachelor's degree
