Job Description

We are seeking a collaborative QA Engineer to support quality practices within a delivery team. This role reports directly to the team's Engineering Manager. You will work closely with Software Developers, Product, and Tech Leads to ensure tests are applied at the right level of the testing pyramid, focusing on effective coverage, risk mitigation, and exploratory testing to uncover issues that automated or scripted tests may miss. You will support shift-left testing by considering testability early in designs and features and helping the team validate functionality before it reaches production. You will contribute to observability-led quality, using monitoring, metrics, and logging to understand system reliability, performance, and user experience in production. You will exercise sound judgment in balancing risk, speed, and coverage, collaborate with QA colleagues and engineers, and follow established processes and practices to maintain quality, consistency, and effectiveness within the team. Your work will help ensure confident releases and support a culture of quality-first engineering.
