Job Responsibility:
Own quality across the full product lifecycle, from requirement refinement and design reviews to release validation and post-production monitoring
Design and execute coherent test plans that cover functional requirements, edge cases, and regression paths
Perform high-value manual and exploratory testing for complex features, critical user journeys, and areas where automation is not yet appropriate
Identify quality risks early and prioritize testing efforts based on business impact, technical complexity, and user exposure
Create, maintain, and scale automated test suites for web, desktop applications, and APIs
Develop and maintain desktop automation workflows to ensure seamless integration between local client software and web interfaces
Ensure a healthy automation pyramid by maintaining a high-coverage regression suite that provides fast feedback loops
Monitor and analyze automated test results within the delivery pipeline to ensure stable releases
Manage test data, environments, and dependencies using containerization and mocking techniques to ensure repeatable and isolated test execution
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine testable, business-aligned user stories, and work with engineers to improve testability and remove automation blockers
Promote quality best practices and mentor QA engineers
Requirements:
Proven experience building and maintaining modern automation frameworks
Expertise in Playwright is a major advantage
Hands-on experience with desktop automation tools (e.g., Appium, WinAppDriver or similar)
Comfortable writing clean, maintainable code
Proficiency in TypeScript is a huge plus
Experience with API testing and API mocking
Solid understanding of Docker for containerizing test environments
Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical constraints, translating complex features into logical, effective test scenarios
Nice to have:
Knowledge of RabbitMQ or other event-based queues (Kafka, Amazon SQS) to validate asynchronous system behaviour
Experience with tools (logs, metrics, tracing) to support production validation and incident analysis
Familiarity with contract testing and TDD/BDD practices
Experience working in cybersecurity or complex, distributed SaaS environments
